AVENUES REMASTERED
Avenues welcomes Curtis Duffy as its new Chef de Cuisine. Duffy brings with him a wealth of experience from some of the country's most innovative restaurants, most recently Alinea, where he was Chef de Cuisine working for Owner/Chef Grant Achatz and previously Trio and Charlie Trotter's. Duffy uses fresh natural ingredients to showcase his creative thoughtful approach to food. You can experience a four-, eight- or fifteen-course menu prepared by Chef Duffy Tuesday through Saturday evenings.
SUNDAY DIM SUM LUNCH AT SHANGHAI TERRACE
Shanghai Terrace is notable as much for its intensely flavoured Shanghainese and Cantonese dishes as it is for its matchless service and 1930s supper club atmosphere. Chef de Cuisine Calvin Soh brings a fresh take on Far East flavours, and now presents delicious dim sum as part of the new Sunday lunch. "Yum-Cha at The Pen" offers over 30 selections including Peeky Crab Wonton, Crispy Duck Taro, Spicy Beef Gyoza and Lobster Dumplings as well as dim sum-sized desserts. You can also sample drinks from our Asian tea menu. Served Sundays between 10:30 am and 3:00 pm.
HEALTH, WEALTH AND HAPPINESS FOR BUSY EXECUTIVES
Shanghai Terrace now features a lunch menu created especially with busy executives in mind - the Health, Happiness and Wealth bento trays. The Health tray features a Soup of the Day, Mushroom Salad, Tofu, Ginger Fried Rice and Crème Brulée dessert. The Happiness bento tray features a Soup of the Day, an Asian Chicken Salad, Steamed Cod Fish, Singapore Noodles and Crème Brulée, while the Wealth tray includes a Soup of the Day, Shanghai Roll, Black Pepper Beef, Seafood Fried Rice and Crème Brulée. Shanghai Terrace also offers an à la carte lunch menu, which includes a selection of dim sum, appetisers and entrées. Lunch is served Monday through Saturday 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm. During warm weather enjoy lunch, dinner and cocktails al fresco on The Terrace.
